Great Canadian Casino Vancouver, at 2080 United Boulevard in Coquitlam, has carried four names since 2001. December 2023: Hard Rock Casino Vancouver became Great Canadian Casino Vancouver.

Four names since 2001

Great Canadian Casino Vancouver, at 2080 United Boulevard in Coquitlam, has worn four names. October 13, 2001: Great Canadian opens it as Casino Coquitlam. 2005/2006: a $105 million expansion, and the name changes to Boulevard Casino.

December 20, 2013: a grand opening as Hard Rock Casino Vancouver, the first Hard Rock casino in Canada. December 2023: renamed Great Canadian Casino Vancouver.

The theatre kept a separate line of names. It was the Red Robinson Show Theatre, then briefly The Theatre at the Hard Rock Casino Vancouver in late 2013. May 2016 brought the Molson Canadian Theatre. Its current name is The Show Theatre.

Who owns and runs it

Since May 5, 2026, Great Canadian Casino Vancouver has been owned and run by Petroglyph Development Group. Petroglyph is owned by Snuneymuxw First Nation. It uses the Great Canadian name under a limited licence.

Great Canadian Casino Vancouver is at 2080 United Boulevard, Coquitlam, phone +1 604-523-6888. Hours are Pacific time. Tables run Monday to Thursday from 10 AM to 4 AM, then from Friday at 10 AM straight through to Monday at 4 AM. The poker room keeps 10 AM to 4 AM Monday to Thursday and 24 hours Friday to Sunday. No hours are published for the gaming floor itself, and holiday hours should be checked on the venue's own site.

The floor lists over 920 slots, 37 live table games, 42 electronic table machines and 10 poker tables. Privé rooms hold high-limit slots and tables.

At the door and getting there

Entry to Great Canadian Casino Vancouver is 19+, and everyone shows government-issued photo ID at the door. IDs are checked against the self-exclusion list. Table and poker hours are published; floor hours are not. Food comes from Gordon Ramsay Burger, Chopsticks Noodle House, Rock House Grill and the Asylum pub. The Asylum has free live music on Friday and Saturday at 9 PM.

Eastbound United Blvd @ Schooner St, served by routes 159 and 791, is the nearest bus stop at 181 m. Gateway Station, the nearest SkyTrain station, is 3.3 km away. Both figures are straight lines from the building, not walking routes. This guide lists no parking for the casino.
